Gravitational Art Now On Exhibit At Luv A Java Coffee House In San Francisco

Ten original Gravitational Art paintings by Erik White are now on display at Luv A Java coffee house on the corner of Dolores and 26th St. in San Francisco. The artwork went on display November 7th, and patrons of Luv A Java will be enjoying it until the end of the year. Abraham, one of the owners of Luv A Java said, “The walls look great!” The artwork brings a “downtown gallery” feel to the coffee shop. The opening reception to meet the artist is on December 1st from 6PM-9PM. Coffee and refreshments will be available for purchase.

Gravitational Art is a new style of painting developed by artist Erik White. The technique captures the movement of gravity, frozen on the surface of the canvas. During the drying process, the paint cracks and moves under the pull of the Earth. The colorful result captures the gravitational forces in patterns that echo natural terrain.
